Wide Open Runnin’

July 7, 2008

Yesterday was the end of my easy week. But I don’t know how easy it was. I hiked Pine Mountain in Cartersville Saturday then spent the rest of the day raking and seeding the yard. On Sunday I ran six miles, but a faster pace than normal, averaging just over nine minutes. I was a little disappointed in my time, but there were loads of hills.

Today will be an off day, with me kicking it back into full gear tomorrow. I’m at 38 pushups in a row, and I’m confident I’ll break 45 by the end of the week.

Elsewhere, I’m still working hard to raise money for my county’s WWII veterans to travel to Washington D.C. Anyone interested in sponsoring me during my marathon training can e-mail me at schulmanwriter@gmail.com.
